About this role

AI Engineer Ripon, WI, US Overview As an AI Engineer within our product engineering team, you will embark on a journey to help shape the future of our company by supporting the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven innovations. Your mission is to assist in integrating intelligent technologies into our design and development processes, working alongside our mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers to push the boundaries of what's possible. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience working directly on machines, industrial equipment, or embedded hardware systems - not solely cloud-based model development. Experience connecting to machine control boards, pulling sensor data, and building automated test or simulation environments is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate AI and machine learning into the design, development, and testing processes for mechanical, electrical, and firmware systems. Assist in researching emerging AI technologies and contribute to building business cases for their adoption. Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of AI initiatives on efficiency, product quality, and innovation. Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML solutions and support pilots and scaling efforts.
