Why is this Respiratory Therapist role different This role offers a balance of independence and teamwork, supporting patients across northern New Jersey while collaborating with a small, supportive team of two RTs and the General Manager. Key highlights Work Arrangement: On-site. Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; flexible. Travel: Sussex, Passaic, and Essex Counties; northern New Jersey. Salary range $37 - $47 per hour On-Call transparency Alternates weekly; supports northern New Jersey region. What you'll do Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
