Job Description: The Director II, Psychiatry PCS is responsible for commercial development of multiple psychiatry agents and indications in various stages of preclinical and clinical development, with focus on interventional psychiatric agents. Primary responsibilities include leading: (1) identification of unmet patient need in multiple psychiatric conditions, (2) partnering with R&D stakeholders to address that unmet need through the AbbVie psychiatry pipeline, (3) forecasting and valuing multiple commercialization pathways, and (4) positioning/co-positioning pipeline products and creating initial brand stories and evidence plans. Reporting to the Psychiatry PCS lead, the Director II will also co-lead the cross-functional Brand Strategy Team (BST), collaborating with multiple teams, including R&D, Finance, Market Access, and Market Research to drive both commercial planning and forecasting.
