Job Description: AbbVie France is recruiting an Affiliate Medical Director. In this role, you will play a critical leadership role at the intersection of science, patients, and the healthcare system - shaping medical strategy, leading talented teams, and influencing standards of care while acting as a trusted scientific and business partner. In your role, you are part of the Affiliate leadership team and Europe Medical Affairs Leadership team. You report to Vice President, Medical Affairs Europe and in matrix to Affiliate General Manager. Responsibilities Provide medical and scientific leadership across the affiliate, ensuring excellence in medical strategy, execution, and governance throughout the product lifecycle. Set and communicate the local medical strategy and scientific position, partnering cross-functionally (Commercial, Market Access, R&D, Regulatory and others) to deliver patient-centric outcomes. Provide clinical oversight and governance, with strong understanding of pharmacovigilance, benefit-risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
