About this role
Coater Mcbee, SC We have an immediate need for a Coater 1 for First Shift in our McBee, SC facility. This position will be responsible for a number of job duties, including (but not limited to): Responsibilities: Set up, change over, monitor, install and/or program thermal spray coating equipment for painting and/or glassing products; Obtain and prepare parts, equipment, tools and materials needed to complete tasks; Sand and paint components per required safety, quality and production specifications; Provide direction, training and/or guidance to new employees as required; Maintain and calibrate equipment, fixtures and tools per specifications; Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition and follow prescribed safety rules, quality requirements; Execute tests and trial coatings, etc. for development, implementation and process stability purposes; Store and properly identify finished units; Fill out paperwork related to production activity as required; Report problems with safety, quality, processes, equipment and materials to production lead or supervisor; Wear required PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and any additional PPE required for task being performed); Perform other duties and operate machinery as assigned by Supervisor/Team Leader. Requirements: Willingness to learn new tasks, cross-train, rotate and work as a part of a team; Willingness to work overtime as required depending on business need; Ability to read and understand basic measuring
