You'll own products end-to-end, from talking to patients about what's broken, to defining the solution, to shipping it, to iterating in production. There's no committee - you define the roadmap. You'll work directly with the CEO on the hardest, most consequential problems we have: how do you make a complex, high-stakes healthcare workflow feel effortless? How do you build agentic systems that handle real clinical logistics reliably? How do you ship a world-class consumer health product from scratch? This role is in person in New York City, 5 days / week. We are actively recruiting a Remote Telehealth Physician. As an Aviator Physician, you will collaborate with patient navigators to ensure patients receive coordinated, high-quality care. You'll use your clinical expertise to help families navigate chronic illness and support patients in achieving better health outcomes. In this role, you'll also shape Aviator's care model for scale, ensuring that our approach meets both clinical and human needs. Position Overview We are on a mission to give patients the care they deserve by making it easy to navigate the healthcare system. American healthcare is so complex such that 88% of Americans do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate the system. Navigating healthcare today is overwhelming, especially for patients living with chronic conditions. At Aviator, we're building a new model of support that combines human expertise with technology to make care more accessible and coordinated. Our Remote Telehealth Physicians are central to this effort. Responsibilities - Provide clinical expertise to support patients navigating chronic illness. - Partner with healthcare navigators to build and oversee holistic care plans. - Identify and prioritize patient needs, ensuring continuity of care. - Integrate social determinants of health (e.g., food, transportation, housing) into patient plans. - Contribute to building Aviator's new patient care program, helping us refine and expand our model. - Use technology and AI-enabled systems to deliver care efficiently and effectively. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll build end-to-end product experiences across Aviator's patient-facing app and internal AviatorOS, shipping everything from polished UIs to scalable APIs and integrations that power real care coordination. You'll also help productionize our agentic and automation layer by building tool-using agents, workflow orchestration, evals, and safe human-in-the-loop controls so AI can reliably handle high-stakes operational work. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup, loves turning messy real-world workflows into simple software, and ships quickly without compromising reliability.
