Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Associate Acute Care Medical Assistant (AACI), you will help Behavioral Health patients receive vital clinical and administrative support so they can access timely care and improve their well-being. This is an SEIU-UHW represented position. Every day you will perform essential patient coordination and office management tasks. You will be expected to serve as a crucial link between our patients and medical providers. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent patient communication abilities, and a commitment to meticulous record-keeping and confidentiality. This position provides direct front and back office support within our Behavioral Health Department. You will assist psychiatrists by providing basic medication triage, support services, and taking vital signs for adult and child patients.
