Technology Program Mgr Los Angeles, California; Jersey City, New Jersey TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM MGR WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Position is responsible for the planning and successful delivery of long term and / or complex technology projects or programs in a specific business unit while leading matrixed project team members that are each responsible for elements therein. This includes building technology project governance structures and delivery plans to enable fulfillment of articulated business goals. Role is instrumental in driving and tracking project activities, schedule, scope, and budget, as well as negotiating changes in plans and effective communication with all stakeholders. Success of technology project outcomes will be measured by the degree with which the initiative was delivered within time line expectations, budget and scope. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Independently manages multiple highly complex long-term projects and/or programs with significant impact on business processes and technology used firm wide Influences strategic direction and develops tactical plans with substantial latitude Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems and has extensive contact with internal clients and the business Independently manages complex projects and programs from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation, using broad and extensive input from industry and/or business unit subject matter experts Independently manages highly complex project, program and/or portfolio budgets Independently drives and manages project, program and/or portfolio activities relating to meeting objectives, budgets, scope, quality standards and schedules Performs project risk assessments, including identifying key risk factors, providing effective mitigation strategies and assigning contingency action plans to both schedules
