What you'll do We have an exciting new opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our government mobility products, antenna systems and crypto products! You will collaborate with all engineering teams and management to craft in reliability during all phases of a product's lifecycle starting from design to end-use. The day-to-day Lead all reliability activities of government mobility products, antenna systems, and crypto products. Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Viasat Government business, engineering, and program management. Recommend relevant reliability strategies for programs and products in Viasat Government business areas. Support program management activities for proposal requests, scope of work and third-party agreements related to reliability requirements. Have working knowledge and understanding of reliability methodologies to lead government programs. The methodologies include but are not limited to: Reliability analysis and development of system reliability models. Failure modes effects and criticality analysis (FMECA), identifying critical failure modes (and other risks) and working with the project team to develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
