A Typical Day The Scrum Master is a servant-leader and coach accountable for ensuring their assigned Scrum Team(s) understand and effectively enacts Scrum principles to deliver valuable technology solutions predictably. This role focuses on maximizing the team's efficiency and protecting their focus, facilitating the removal of organizational impediments, and continuously coaching the team and organization on effective Agile practices. The Scrum Master will: Agile Enablement & Team Coaching Ceremony Leadership: Accountable for expertly facilitating all core Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives Coaching & Self-Management: Coach the Development Team in self-management and cross-functionality, ensuring clear understanding and adherence to the team's defined Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) Continuous Improvement: Facilitate effective Retrospectives that foster psychological safety, resulting in clear, actionable improvements tracked for continuous application across processes and practices Scaling Proficiency: Demonstrate practical experience with scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale) to enable enterprise-scale Agile delivery and release management Organizational Impediment Removal & Delivery Flow Servant
