The day-to-day The Operations Program Manager (OPM) leads cross-functional production program teams and is accountable to the Business Area to ensure timely delivery of products to both external and internal customers. By providing day-to-day direction to a cross functional team including representatives from New Product Introduction (NPI), test engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, production planning, and quality assurance, the OPM manages all aspects of production program requirements. During the development and prototype phases, the OPM works closely with the cross-functional team and Engineering to ensure the product is manufacturable and all critical processes and suppliers (including Contract Manufacturers) are production ready and all key risk mitigation factors are identified and addressed. The OPM leads and directs regular core team meetings, attends and reports at program reviews, ensures product line forecasts are translated into a Build Plan, oversees change management, and plans/manages Manufacturing
