A Typical Day The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of office equipment, physical space for a building or group of buildings in a similar geographic area. As the Coordinator, you will handle building-equipment emergencies on an ongoing basis and serve as a liaison between company employees and outside contractors called in to fix problems. The Facilities Coordinator will: Schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans Review furniture needs and ensures the office supply and kitchen areas are being stocked Work in an administrative assistant capacity in addition to maintenance coordination Manage local facilities programs Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values What You'll Bring High School Diploma / GED 1+ years of relevant work experience Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Experience working in facilities, project management or real estate prior preferred Why You Should Join As one
