Embedded QA Engineering Manager (Hardware Accelerate) Boston, MA RESPONSIBILITES: - Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for building platforms the integrate across embedded, mobile, backend, and third party services that enable research initiatives - Define technical strategy, architecture, and design for features that support research-focused initiatives - Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand research needs and translate them into scalable systems - Manage third-party technology vendors and relationships - Maintain engineering best practices in development, testing, and deployment processes - Serve as a player-coach by contributing technically while driving team delivery and growth - Provide regular mentorship, feedback, and coaching to team members to support their professional development and growth - Foster a culture of innovation, psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience as a hands-on software developer combined with a proven track record in engineering management - Strong technical skills in software development, testing, and deployment - Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver complex, cross-functional projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to align technical and business priorities - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong sense of ownership - Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions
