Data Entry Clerk Boston, MA, United States Company Description: Job Description: This is a contract position with a slight possibility of becoming permanent Candidates will be required to pass a data-entry speed test to be considered. Must be able to pass drug and background check. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review corporate contracts; Accurately identify contract terms, including year of execution, parties, corporate entities, etc.; Enter contract terms into master tracking matrices; Scan and catalogue hardcopies of contracts to create electronic copies as needed; and Other duties as assigned. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Data entry and verification including both alphanumeric and 10-key entry Create mail address endorsements Compose emails to clients Advise Supervisor and/or Manager of missing contracts, missing signatures, incomplete documents, etc.; and Track productivity and number of completed contracts. Qualifications: High school diploma; Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; “Tech-savvy” with strong computer skills, including ability to navigate Windows-based PCs; Understanding of basic Microsoft office applications; Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including ability to navigate, filter, sort, and accurately add entries to spreadsheets. Additional Information: All your information will be kept KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to self-manage and work independently on completion of training; Ability to communicate effectively through electronic means including IM, web-based meetings, and telephone; Fast learner; Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); Strong ethics, integrity, and accountability; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and Ability to work quickly and accurately.
