The role will be reporting to the Tube Room Supervisor. Where is the position located? Welshpool, Perth What will your typical day look like? A Tube Room Operator is responsible for the manufacture of metal tubes, one of the components of our heat exchangers. Responsibilities: Produce tubes needed for the manufacturing of radiators and oil coolers that come under Mesabi ® products. Setting up tube presses and run tubes continuously and efficiently on our semi-automated tube machines. Perform light maintenance on the machinery (i.e., cleaning and lubrication of parts). Conduct all duties as directed by the supervisor in a safe and timely manner. Must be able to recognise, report and rectify quality deviations once trained. What do we want to know about you?
