Wabtec's Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is a recognized industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects. These projects involve signaling, train control, communications, and back-office solutions with a strong focus on project execution, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction You will work collaboratively with internal teams, including software engineers, testing and commissioning and project managers, to contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Where is the position located? The operating sites are located Northside Brisbane to Beerwah, QLD. How will you make a difference? As a member of Wabtec Control Systems this role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing signaling systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of customer and client rail networks What will your typical day look like? Install, test, and commission signaling equipment including track circuits, point machines, signals, and train control systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the integrity and reliability of signaling infrastructure. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in signaling systems, utilising technical expertise and diagnostic tools to identify and rectify issues promptly. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement signaling upgrades and modifications, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support during commissioning
