You will be a key part of our Operations team and support our customers by effectively supporting the shipping and receiving function of our Arcola, IL facility. How will you make a difference? As a member of the Arcola Operations team, you will be responsible for all outbound shipments that leave our facility. What do we want to know about you? Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of relevant warehouse experience. A valid driver's license is also required. Proficient in Forklift operation. Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel Experience in preparing and packing goods for shipment. Ability to read, create and complete shipping documents. Knowledge of inventory management and legal procedures of shipping materials. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. What will your typical day look like? Oversee the proper loading and handling of goods and materials. In charge of shipping supplies and materials out of the storehouse. Validating the shipping materials and goods with the packing slips/invoices to ascertain the goods being shipped. Counting, sorting and weighing all outbound goods and authenticating the paperwork of the same in accord with the shipping requirements Ensuring the completion of all paperwork relating to the shipped goods.
