Reporting to the Global Operations Direction and dotted line to Senior Engineering Director, as a key member of the Digital Mine team, the Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is a cross‑functional reliability specialist who integrates engineering, operations, data, and organisational context to ensure that systems, products, and processes perform consistently and safely across their entire lifecycle. Unlike traditional reliability roles that focus on isolated assets or performance metrics, the IE takes a system‑wide, end‑to‑end view-considering technology, people, processes, and data as interconnected components of reliability. The IE acts as a strategic partner across engineering, operations, product, quality, and lifecycle management teams, enabling organisations to move from reactive maintenance to predictive, preventative, and proactive reliability culture.
