To learn more visit: www.waabi.ai You will... - Be responsible for mechanical design, assembly, test and integration of sensors, compute, modules, and actuation systems. - Work closely with the software team to define and convert perception, planning, and control requirements into hardware specifications. - Design for automotive requirements and environmental challenges. - Support prototype and production module builds. - Manager relationships with suppliers and external partners - Diagnose and drive resolution of technical issues. Qualifications: - Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields. - Proficient with Solidworks. - Experience with technical drawing tolerancing for various manufacturing operations. - Experience with fundamentals of Finite Element Analysis (FEA). - Experience with PLM tools and document revision control. - Test and qualify mechanical designs for on road vehicle use. - Experience with various designs for manufacturing processes like sheet metal, injection molding, stamping, die cast, etc. - Technical ownership of hardware development from prototype to production. - Present mechanical solutions to cross functional teams.
