This position is part of a highly skilled engineering and infrastructure team responsible for the design, administration, security, and operation of Verisign's application delivery and application security enterprise platforms . This role requires deep systems administration expertise combined with strong ownership of developer productivity, CI/CD, and security tooling ecosystems. The ideal candidate is an experienced systems engineer with expert-level Linux knowledge, strong platform administration capabilities, and a proven ability to operate in compliance-driven environments while improving reliability and efficiency at scale. Key Responsibilities - Architect, install, configure, and maintain production and non-production systems supporting enterprise application delivery and security platforms - Serve as a subject matter expert in Linux systems administration , including performance tuning, OS hardening, and advanced troubleshooting - Administer and optimize key enterprise platforms including: - Source control and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitHub Enterprise) - Work management systems (Jira) - CI/CD platforms (CloudBees Jenkins) - Artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory) - Administer and support software supply chain security tools , including: - Nexus IQ Firewall - JFrog Xray - GitHub Advanced Security
