Principal Engineer - System Programmer & Database Engineer Bangalore, KA, India Bangalore, KA, India What success looks like in this role: Solid technical knowledge in C# programming languages and .NET for the networking domain Required to have good working knowledge on building, debugging and troubleshooting on a Windows environment. Experience in Unisys Clear Path MCP/OS 2200 systems will be an added advantage Leverages subject matter expertise to lead in the design and development of significant and technically challenging efforts across major program / product areas. Key Responsibilities • Leverages subject matter expertise to lead in the design and development of significant and technically challenging efforts across major program / product areas. • Defines architectural standards, tools and methodologies to ensure technical consistency and quality across the company's functional applications. • Identifies, adapts and applies new technologies that can help improve systems overall. • Collaborates with senior members of development / functional departments across the company to share experiences and knowledge and to identify ways to simplify and integrate products. • Works with management on the development of Software Engineering governance / performance management processes. • Helps define, develop and deliver training and education for systems users, Software Engineering colleagues, allied groups and other stakeholders. • Identifies proprietary intellectual property and recommends patent applications. #LI-LS1 You will be successful in this role if you have: Key Qualifications BA/BS degree and 8+ years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree preferred Skills (picked relevant skills from Qualifications tab)
