About this role

Equity Sales Trader – Associate Director • Support and execute trades in Malaysian equities for institutional and professional clients. • Provide actionable market colour, liquidity insights, and execution advice to clients and coverage teams. • Advise on execution strategies including blocks, worked orders, portfolio trading, and electronic solutions. • Collaborate closely with global trading and execution teams to source liquidity and manage cross-market transactions. • Partner with Equity Sales to identify cross-selling opportunities across cash equities, execution services, portfolio trading, and electronic trading solutions. • Contribute to revenue growth by supporting broader client relationships and wallet share expansion. • Ensure strict adherence to local regulatory requirements, conduct standards, and internal risk controls. • Manage execution risks, errors, and escalations promptly and transparently. • Support team development by mentoring junior staff and contributing to desk best practices.
