About this role

Equity Derivatives Senior Java Developer We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Equity Derivatives Quantitative Development (EMEA) team within UBS Global Market: • you will be working in a high performing, fast paced, and collaborative team that are responsible for the development and enhancement of the best-in-class Equity Derivatives platform, predominantly utilizing low latency Java • the team sits within the Global Markets - Principal Flow Trading stream, and has a business reporting line • you will take ownership of initiatives from initial analysis through to design, implementation and delivery • you will proactively suggest and drive through improvements to the platform and our framework • you will be involved in every aspect of algorithmic trading: - designing and building new quoting, execution and risk management flows - designing and building trader tools to help improve business workflows and efficiency - market connectivity - latency analysis and optimization - enhancing the proprietary eTrading framework that is used across the department
