Responsibilities - Ownership over our data center infrastructure, tasked with all aspects of keeping it up and operating in an optimal and reliable manner - Contacting third-party vendors about remote equipment installation and maintenance and then supervising those projects through completion - Performing hardware installation and troubleshooting existing hardware - Documenting both new and established procedures to establish and foster best practices firmwide - Cooperating with other engineers to provide stable and secure deployments of new infrastructure components - Working with network engineers to reliably upgrade and replace old network equipment - Developing an automated provisioning system and keeping the inventory system up to date - Troubleshooting software issues that might be related to
