About this role
Field Diesel Mechanic Fremont, NE, US Overview Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case IH Diesel Mechanic. This position is responsible for performing diesel machinery diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and pre-delivery work on customer equipment, internal units, and warranty repairs at a high level of quality and efficiency. Work may be performed in the shop or in the field, and all assigned tasks must be completed safely, professionally, and profitably. Responsibilities Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise : Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Provide professional, timely, and courteous field service as directed by the Service Manager, including potential weekend and after-hours service calls. Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly with equipment owners, operators, and the service team. Request, install, and manage all parts and supplies required for equipment repairs. Complete work orders and all required service-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Proactively recommend maintenance, upgrades, or solutions that add value for customers and improve equipment performance.
