Lead Electrical Engineer (Power System & Equipment) Rio, DE Job Purpose The overall purpose of the Subsea Processing Power Lead Engineer is to provide MV and HV power product specific oversight to Pre-FEED studies, FEED studies, technical sales support, research and development (R&D) studies, tenders, proposals, and product development support for TechnipFMC.Providing technical expertise for the power string, from topsides to the seafloor, to ensure that it meets the requirements of the subsea loads as specified in project documentation.Electrical engineer with background in power infrastructure, systems and equipment. Job Description Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible within Power and Processing - Power for: Performing FEED study level and EPC level power system calculations review and approval to establish, for example, topsides power requirements, topsides power equipment specifications, electrical insulation classes and umbilical power cable cross-sectional areas. Communicating with other disciplines, including but not limited to product engineers, controls engineers, instrumentation engineers, process engineers, installation, and project management. Approving, interpreting, using and creating design basis information. Approving and reviewing power system deliverables to define the power infrastructure for subsea processing systems, including systems for subsea pumping, subsea separation, flow line heating and subsea compressors.
