Tool & Die Maker III - 1st Shift Job Country United States At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. ​ Job Overview This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, precision, and building things that matter . As a Tool Room Technician, you'll help build and maintain fixtures and stamping dies that support daily production. You'll work closely with experienced toolmakers in a clean, safety‑focused shop environment. Job Requirements Assist with building, repairing, and maintaining fixtures and stamping dies Use manual machine tools such as mills, lathes, and surface grinders Read and work from blueprints and technical drawings Square up material and prepare components for tooling builds Keep the tool room organized, clean, and safe Follow all safety guidelines and standard procedures Support other tool room activities as needed Shift hours: 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday. What your background should look like High school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience working with fixtures, dies, or similar tooling Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently Comfortable with basic shop math and measurements Experience using air tools and power tools CNC experience is a plus, but not required Good communication and teamwork skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Shop‑based environment with exposure to noise and dust Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift Ability to lift up to
