Main tasks: Develops & implements strategy for assigned supplier portfolio in accordance with the commodity strategy for EMEA Responsible for delivering annual business results (ex. Cost savings, supplier performance and compliance) for assigned commodities Spend analysis, market insights and total cost of ownership Managing sourcing projects, key initiatives, and supplier negotiations Driving reporting process to give visibility to the business unit of cost change projects Managing the day-to-day relationship with suppliers to build long term rapport and drive extraordinary results Perform capacity analysis and minimize risk in the supply chain Your ideal background: Very Strong analytical and computer-skills 3-5 years of experience managing sourcing projects and prioritizing multiple key activities in strategic/direct purchasing. Experience in cost analysis, components cost breakdowns Experience in supplier management Experience in managing plastic resins compounding (or process and plastic injection moulding) is preferred Knowledge of Chemical industry in general is preferred Background in Automotive/Appliances/Aerospace/Industrials is a Plus Good common sense in process and risk man
