Production Operator I Job Country United States At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview Produce products in a timely and efficient manner for the customers. Job Requirements Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead. Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings. Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM. Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify product meets customer specifications and industry standards. Operate air and power tools as needed in order to aid in the manufacturing process. Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards. Follow safety rules and use safe procedures. Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as assigned. What your background should look like High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience required. Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel. Read and understand blueprints/drawings. Mechanical aptitude. Communicate effectively. Ability to Read, Write and Speak English Knowledge of various types of equipment such as: Air and power tools Micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures and gages Ability to work independently.
