Molding Operator IV Processor (Day Shift) Job Country United States At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview Set up, start up, and optimize injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment Develop, adjust, and maintain molding processes to meet quality, cycle time, and scrap targets Troubleshoot and resolve complex molding defects (e.g., short shots, flash, warpage, splay, burn marks) Analyze recurring process issues and implement corrective actions to improve consistency and efficiency Modify and adapt processing parameters, tooling, materials, and equipment to resolve production challenges Perform mold validations, process studies, and parameter optimization (scientific molding principles preferred) Interpret part quality data and make process adjustments based on root cause analysis Work with engineering and quality teams to support new product launches and process development Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards Job Requirements Train and mentor operators and junior technicians on proper processing techniques and troubleshooting methods Serve as a hands-on technical resource for complex molding or equipment issues Provide guidance on best practices for material handling, drying, and processing conditions Support continuous improvement initiatives including cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and uptime improvement What your background should look like 4+ years of hands-on experienc
