Marketer (Brand, Product, Storytelling) San Francisco | OnSite Location: San Francisco Reports to: CEO ABOUT TAVUS Tavus is a research company focused on building AI systems that enable real-time, human-like interaction between people and machines. Its technology combines multimodal perception, generation, and low-latency infrastructure to support conversational video interfaces. The company is backed by investors including Sequoia Capital, Y Combinator, and Scale Venture Partners. THE ROLE Tavus is hiring a founding marketer to lead brand, product marketing, and category development. This role sits outside a traditional marketing structure and reports directly to the founder. The successful candidate will own narrative development, content creation, and distribution end-to-end. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Developing and maintaining core company and product narratives - Translating technical concepts into clear, externally facing messaging - Creating high-quality content across formats (written, video, demos, launches) - Supporting frequent product launches (weekly cadence) with structured messaging and assets - Owning and evolving brand positioning across website, product, and external channels - Driving distribution through organic, social, and PR channels - Contributing to category definition in an emerging market CANDIDATE PROFILE The role is open to candidates across a range of seniority (typically 4+ years' experience), with a focus on demonstrated execution capability. Two common profiles are expected: NARRATIVE / CREATIVE FOCUS - Strong ability to develop clear, compelling messaging from complex inputs - High attention to detail across writing, visual output, and overall brand - Experience producing product-facing content (e.g. demos, websites, launch materials) DISTRIBUTION / GROWTH FOCUS -
