Facilities Technician II Dallas, TX, Dallas, Texas, United States T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire a Facilities Technician II is an intermediate-level role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing facility systems and equipment within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement across facility operations. What You'll Do • Perform operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems with minimal supervision • Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, including relays, components, and basic control circuits • Restore facility systems to operational status, including electrical distribution, air compressors, chillers, vacuum pumps, HVAC systems, and thermal processing equipment (e.g., RTO systems) • Monitor and navigate facility control systems to diagnose faults, alarms, and performance issues • Perform structured power recovery procedures for facility systems • Execute and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs • Develop and refine equipment inspection standards and checklists •
