About this role

Material Control Operator Dallas, TX, Dallas, Texas, United States T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. T1 Energy is looking to hire a Material Control Operator to support the smooth and efficient flow of materials across our solar module manufacturing facility. This role is critical to production success, ensuring material availability, proper inventory control, and timely coordination with purchasing, logistics, and operations teams. What You'll Do • Develop and manage material demand schedules based on production plans and order requirements. • Generate purchase requisitions to support ongoing production while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing excess or obsolete materials. • Track and monitor incoming material shipments and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost alignment, and inventory targets. • Conduct regular cycle counts, receiving materials, and issuing activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Identify and proactively resolve material shortages, overstock issues, and potential disruptions to production. • Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure clear communication of material availability. • Support inventory
