About this role
Helpdesk Administrator Austin, TX, Austin, Texas, United States T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. T1 Energy is looking for an entry-level Helpdesk Administrator to support T1 Energy's Automation & IT Engineering team. You'll handle the day to day IT tasks that keep the company moving, especially onboarding new hires and making sure people have the tools and access they need from day one. This role is ideal for a sharp, organized self-starter early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to real IT operations. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, learn fast, and take on increasing responsibility as the company grows. What You'll Do - Support new hire onboarding by preparing laptops, ordering equipment, and setting up user accounts. - Create and manage user credentials, permissions, and access across systems and tools. - Set up, configure, and troubleshoot laptops and basic IT equipment. - Track and manage incoming IT requests, making sure nothing falls through the cracks. - Prioritize requests based on urgency and business
