Position Overview The APAC and LATAM Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls across multiple countries within the APAC and LATAM regions. Sitting in the US, this role acts as the key liaison between local HR teams, finance, third-party payroll providers, and employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. Essential Job Functions - Manage the payroll email inbox and respond to inquiries related to international payroll activities - Act as the primary point of contact for payroll queries from employees and internal teams - Coordinate monthly payroll processing for employees across APAC and LATAM regions in collaboration with external payroll vendors - Review and validate payroll inputs (e.g. new hires, terminations, bonuses, overtime, benefits, tax details) - Perform gross-to-net pay checks and reconciliation reports, ensuring accurate and timely payments - Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements (tax, social security, pensions, etc.) - Stay updated on payroll legislation and regulatory changes in each country within remit - Maintain accurate employee records in the HR/payroll systems - Support audits and reporting requirements related to payroll - Collaborate with Finance on payroll funding, journal entries, and month-end
