About this role
Instrumentation & Controls Technician Scoville, ID Location: Scoville, ID Schedule: Full-Time The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician supports Standard Nuclear's manufacturing and laboratory operations by installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems. This role ensures that critical process equipment, sensors, and control systems operate reliably and in accordance with technical and safety requirements. This is a hands-on role working with a variety of industrial systems including sensors, transmitters, control loops, and automated equipment. The I&C Technician works closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to support system performance, resolve issues, and maintain safe and efficient operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Instrumentation & Controls Maintenance - Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation including sensors, transmitters, gauges, and control devices - Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on control systems and equipment - Diagnose and repair issues with control loops, signal wiring, and instrumentation systems - Support calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications System Support & Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in manufacturing and laboratory environments - Work with engineering teams to support system startup, commissioning, and modifications - Assist in identifying root causes of equipment or process issues and implement corrective actions - Support integration and testing of new instrumentation and control systems Calibration & Documentation - Perform and document calibration activities in accordance with company procedures - Maintain accurate records of maintenance, calibration, and system changes - Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements for instrumentation and controls Operational Support - Provide on-the-floor support
