Senior Fullstack Engineer - Backstage Portal, Data Experience New York, NY We're looking for a Senior Engineer to shape the Data Experience for Backstage Portal, Spotify's enterprise internal developer portal (IDP) used by organizations worldwide. Today, data lives in silos across data warehouses and transformation tools, disconnected from the software catalog where teams collaborate. Data Experience begins this problem by automatically ingesting dataset metadata and surfacing it in Backstage's Software Catalog, making data as discoverable and well-documented as any software component. You'll play a key role in shaping the architecture and product direction while building the connectors, APIs, and UIs that enable our customers' data platform teams to reduce toil, data owners to run datasets, and data consumers to find what they need. This isn't just about building yet another data catalog, it's about expanding Portal's mission to serve data practitioners with the same low-code experience that's redefining platform engineering teams at enterprise organizations.
