SOURCING MANAGER, CAPITAL EQUIPMENT & CONSTRUCTION (STARSHIP) We are a progressive procurement organization pushing the boundaries of traditional procurement reputation and methodologies. We are looking for individuals who can think outside the box to achieve company objectives regarding value and partnerships with our suppliers. Our organization moves quickly, and you must too. SpaceX has the unique ability and desire to influence and shape suppliers to be better with us as we challenge our supply chain on cost, quality and delivery. This individual will support the procurement of construction services and related capital equipment for MEP/FP, civil, structural, architectural, and general construction scopes critical to Starship production, launch infrastructure, and Starbase facility expansion. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and execute procurement strategies for construction services including general contracting, MEP/FP, civil, structural, architectural, and specialty trades, as well as related capital equipment. - Lead the creation of bid packages and manage competitive bidding processes (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs), including contractor prequalification, pre-bid meetings, site visits, bid evaluations, and award recommendations for construction scopes. - Review and validate engineering designs, construction drawings, scopes of work, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and constructability best practices. -
