EQUIPMENT RELIABILITY ENGINEER (STARLINK/AKOUSTIS) Akoustis is now operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of SpaceX providing industry leading RF filters using patented XBAW technology to help drive the mission of making human life multi-planetary, while also connecting the world through Starlink. Our work helps further the impact that Starlink is already making on millions of users around the world, while allowing us to broaden that reach dramatically and continue connecting the unconnected here on earth. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead internal project teams, consulting engineers, and contractors through the full mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance process to deliver projects on time and within budget - Provide technical engineering support to ensure all construction and maintenance work complies with codes, standards, and specifications - Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for HVAC, electrical, cranes, and facility systems to maintain high uptime and reliability - Manage the capital expenditure process, including reviews, approvals, and execution of site projects to meet technical requirements, budgets, and deadlines - Support onboarding and commissioning of new equipment while implementing reliability programs to reduce downtime before equipment enters production - Respond to facility emergencies and maintains readiness procedures to protect operations
