About this role

Education Aide Starbase, TX SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. EDUCATION AIDE Our education community consists of Ad Astra (school for K-12 students), Kenmont (school for infant - Primary aged students), and several extracurriculars, bus routes, and camps. This is not a traditional school community. We strive to provide excellent educational programs for all our SpaceX youth on all SpaceX operating days. Our Education Aides provides a pivotal role in providing student support as well as ad-hoc duties, such as chaperoning our bus routes planning events, and supporting/tutoring students. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support teachers in ensuring high levels of each student's academic achievement and growth - Assist in building a positive classroom culture of hard work, high standards, warmth, and joy - Implement pedagogical best practices under the guidance of teachers or school administrators - Help provide structured academic interventions in response to real-time formative data - Support bus routes as a chaperone - Help plan and execute a variety of events, including movie nights, holiday events, toddler raves, chess tournaments, and more - Participate as part of a broader team to support cross-studio programs and initiatives - Help motivate and build relationships with students - Aid in creating and facilitating enriching learning experiences for students (guest speakers, field trips,
