DIRECTOR, GLOBAL LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS (STARLINK) Starlink is a revolutionary satellite constellation delivering low-latency broadband internet around the world-bringing an unprecedented opportunity to significantly impact communities, businesses, and governments worldwide. In the United States, Starlink is rapidly expanding access to high-speed internet for rural, suburban, and underserved communities. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Operations, the Director of Global Logistics Operations will lead the end-to-end execution of our shipping, logistics, and associated activities as we rapidly scale. This role is pivotal in delivering cost-effective, agile, and scalable operations across our complex global network to 155 and growing countries, territories and jurisdictions where Starlink equipment and services are shipped and sold. As Starlink equipment is manufactured in the US, the ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in US Duty Drawback programs-particularly manufacturing substitutions for extensive Bills of Materials (BOMs)-to unlock operational cost savings and enhance efficiency in our high-volume trade flows. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of global shipping and logistics operations, including carrier selection and management, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery to 155+ countries, many of which are in the Global South.
