Data & Control Systems Technician (Facilities) - Level 4/5 Cape Canaveral, FL SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. DATA & CONTROL SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (FACILITIES) - LEVEL 4/5 RESPONSIBILITIES : - Install connectors, connector pins, terminals, cables, cable assemblies and lugs - Install and modify electrical conveyances, including but not limited to conduit and cable tray - Build intricate and complex cable assemblies using Mil-C connectors and contacts - Build and terminate AC power equipment up to 480VAC - Build, terminate, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based manufacturing hardware - Write, create, and organize work planning documents and instructions - Fabricate support structures, enclosures, and conveyances for electrical distribution equipment - Troubleshoot AC power distribution equipment up to 480VAC - Perform continuity checks, locate and correct wiring errors using measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and voltage calibrators - Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot failures - Generate purchase orders from vendor quotes BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalency certificate - 6+ years of professional experience working with industrial controls or instrumentation in a manufacturing or production environment PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Associate degree or profession certificate in industrial controls or electrical engineering - Experience with PLC and DAQ programming - Experience with NI Max, Step 7, Studio 5000 - Experience
