Construction Project Manager, MEP McGregor, TX SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER, MEP As a member of the construction projects team, you will work with elite engineers and project managers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and commission critical infrastructure for a variety of projects at SpaceX's Rocket Development Facility in McGregor, Texas, as well as other SpaceX facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for the planning and execution of new facility construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects with a specialized focus on commercial and industrial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. You will own projects from start to finish to support high-power rocket engine testing, test stand activation, and world-class industrial facilities that enable rapid development and iteration. This position is based in McGregor, TX. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout the entire mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process - Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects - Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out - Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time - Coordinate with the electrical utility provider on design and engineering to ensure reliable power
