CNC MACHINIST (STARLINK) - 2ND SHIFT - LEVEL 4/5 At SpaceX we're leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation and is providing fast, reliable internet to 10M+ users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system - thousands of satellites, consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We've only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink's potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class CNC Machinists to help maximize Starlink's utility for communities and businesses around the globe. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 Axis mills and 6 axis lathes - Responsible for all types of drilling, tapping and milling and turning - Completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions - Responsible for machining complex, tight tolerances parts and various materials - Material prep, deburring parts, hauling chips, oiling machines, sweeping up and initiating or assisting in organizational tasks BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school
