CMM PROGRAMMER (VALVES) - 2ND SHIFT RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) verification on mechanical parts, components, assemblies and materials (may include but is not limited to first article parts, in-process and final inspection on assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications/drawings) - Understand GD&T requirements as applied to the engineering drawing and drawing notes - Spot interpretation issues as applied to dimensions written or evaluation to requirements - Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality. Inspect feature tolerances by selecting the tool with the required accuracy - Candidate will be responsible to work in a cross functional environment utilizing PC-DMIS programming skills as applied to an Articulating Romer ARM and DCC CMM's - Create, maintain, verify, retain, sort and organize all programs created to ensure they are readily available and saved to the current revision (in close coordination with Quality Assurance supervision) - Work with cross functional teams to continuously improve the processes and specifications that govern precision inspection within the work center and beyond - Assist engineering with making part inspection plans - Identify engineering and design GD&T issues and errors creating ambiguity in the manufacturing and
