Job Description: Job Purpose The Quality Control function at Smiths Interconnect supports manufacturing operations by performing incoming, in‑process, and final inspections to ensure products meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role executes Customer Source Inspection (CSI), First Article Inspection (FAI), high‑reliability testing, and related quality activities while contributing to compliance, continuous improvement, and on‑time delivery objectives. Responsibilities Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components. Conduct in‑process and final inspections in accordance with drawings, procedures, and specifications. Execute Customer Source Inspections (CSI) and First Article Inspections (FAI). Perform visual inspections using microscopes and precision tools. Handle and test highly sensitive and delicate equipment to define quality criteria. Accurately collect, document, and store inspection and test data. Prepare Certificates of Compliance (CoC) and customer‑specific quality documentation. Maintain product serialization and traceability records. Follow documented data‑collection and record‑retention procedures. Identify, document, and escalate non‑conformances. Initiate and support corrective actions (NCR/CAR). Assist in root‑cause investigations and verification of corrective measures. Assist with supplier evaluations and incoming quality concerns. Support internal and external ISO audits by providing documentation and inspection evidence. Support contract review activities related to quality requirements. Perform
