STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for Mold Prep & Trim associates to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams. This position is responsible for the set up and operation of abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment to prepare assemblies and details to acceptable cosmetic and dimensional requirements. Use hand tools to grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits and specifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:45AM - 3:15PM 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:15PM - 1:45AM with $1.00 Shift Differential Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products to validate conformance to blueprints and instructions by customer and to company operating procedures. Conducts detailed material preparation by operating Dremel tools and buffing wheels and applying sandpaper scuffing techniques to optimize surfaces for finishing processes. Uses hand tools to grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits and specifications. Uses chemicals, such as, but not limited to; chemlock, acetone, and alcohol for the preparation of parts for the next process.
