Job Description: This newly created role will establish and lead the insurance function for Smiths Detection following its acquisition by CVC Capital Partners. As the company's first dedicated Insurance Manager, the postholder will be responsible for developing and managing the global insurance programme, providing strategic oversight of all insurance-related activities, and acting as the primary liaison between the business, brokers, and the insurance market. The role is critical in protecting the organisation's assets and managing risk exposure across international operations, while supporting commercial growth through expert guidance on insurance matters related to contracts, M&A activity, and new market entry.
