About this role

Director Engineering United States Director, Platform Engineering As Director of Platform Engineering at SingleStore, you will lead the teams and technologies that power the company's internal engineering platforms, infrastructure services, and developer experience. You will be responsible for building and operating the systems that enable engineers to develop, test, secure, deploy, and operate software reliably at scale. This role owns critical platform domains including CI/CD infrastructure, release engineering, developer productivity tooling, infrastructure automation, identity and access management, networking infrastructure, observability, and internal cloud platforms. You will drive operational excellence across multi-cloud environments while improving reliability, scalability, security, and engineering velocity across the organization. You will own the strategy, standardization, and operational maturity of SingleStore's internal multi-cloud infrastructure services environment. This includes driving consistency, automation, scalability, and operational best practices across cloud service providers while ensuring critical engineering systems remain secure, reliable, and operationally efficient. You will partner closely with Engineering, Security, IT, and Product leadership to modernize platform capabilities, standardize engineering workflows, and scale the infrastructure that supports SingleStore's cloud and database engineering teams. By combining deep expertise in platform engineering, infrastructure operations, multi-cloud architecture, networking, IAM, and developer systems, you will shape how engineering teams build, deploy, and operate software across the company. In addition, you will champion AI- and automation-driven approaches to modernize infrastructure operations, release pipelines, and developer tooling.
