The company manages multi-million dollar federal contracts and equipment, and is experiencing rapid growth in a $32 billion project market. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with 2-4 years of experience to join our team as a dedicated, full-time estimator working within our client's existing systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will support the full bid lifecycle - from comprehensive plan review and specification analysis through bid assembly and coordination with the existing estimating team. This is a critical role where attention to detail directly impacts profitability and risk mitigation on complex, high-value projects. Responsibilities - Conduct thorough review and "stress testing" of complex bid packages (including 1000+ page specifications) to identify missing scope, requirements, and potential financial risks before bid submission. - Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimation using the client's existing software systems and Excel-based workflows. - Extract and analyze critical project requirements from extensive specification documents, schedules, and addendums to ensure bid compliance and feasibility. - Collaborate with the primary estimator and ownership team on bid assembly, material cost research, and final bid preparation. - Support coordination between
